Hi!
My name is Corrado and I am a DBA programmer with a passion for computer systems that began at a young age when my parents gave me a Commodore 64 as a gift.
Over the years, I have honed my skills and knowledge in a variety of systems and programming languages, starting with mainframe systems such as Digital and IBM, and now working with complex computing clusters.
I have experience programming in a variety of languages, including Macro Assembler, COBOL, Pascal, FORTRAN, Basic, C, C++, Ada, C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
My past work experience has allowed me to become a versatile professional, capable of working in various roles such as program manager, team manager, and system analyst.
In recent years, my focus has been on data storage systems, specifically MS SQL Server, and I have worked on resolving problems related to business intelligence and creating customized solutions for various customers using .NET programming.
My specialties include MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, project management, team management, and system analysis.

MS SQL Server is a relational database management system developed and maintained by Microsoft. It is based on the Structured Query Language (SQL) to create, modify and manage databases.
It allows large amounts of data to be managed, offers advanced security and data analysis capabilities, provides business intelligence tools and supports scalability and high availability. MS SQL Server is used in a wide range of business environments, including large organisations and small enterprises.
MS SQL Server consists of several versions, such as MS SQL Server Express, MS SQL Server Standard and MS SQL Server Enterprise. Each version provides specific functionality and a different amount of memory and processing power.
In addition, MS SQL Server also offers a number of development and administration tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support developers and system administrators in managing databases.
SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) is a component of MS SQL Server that provides advanced data analysis capabilities to help organizations make informed decisions. SSAS uses a technology called multidimensional cube to organize data so that it can be easily analyzed through business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Excel.
SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) is a component of MS SQL Server that enables the creation, management and distribution of reports based on database data. SSRS offers a wide range of options for creating reports, including tabular reports, graph reports, and tree reports. In addition, reports can be distributed in a variety of formats, such as PDF, Excel, or HTML, and can be scheduled to be sent at specific intervals.
In summary, SSAS and SSRS are two components that complement MS SQL Server by providing advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Client/server applications are computer systems in which one computer (the client) sends requests to another computer (the server) that executes them and sends back the result. For example, when using a browser to access a website, the computer running the browser is the client while the server is the computer hosting the website. In this model, the client is responsible for the user interface and the server is responsible for processing requests and returning data. This type of application is often used in enterprise environments to allow multiple users to access a single source of information or processing.
- Cloud computing: this service makes it possible to use computing resources and storage in cloud mode, that is, through the Internet, without having to purchase or physically manage servers or datacenters.
- Data analytics: this service deals with analyzing and interpreting data collected from various sources to obtain useful information for business management or scientific research.
- DevOps: this service deals with automating the process of software development, testing and deployment to make the work of development teams more efficient and faster.
